Zims tackle SA crime


JOHANNESBURG - Concerned Zimbabweans here have drafted a 25- page document on a strategic plan to tackle crime ahead of 2010 world soccer show case to be presented to the minister of safety and security, Charles Nqakula.
A spokesman for the group, Peter Sibanda, said they were "fed up of bein

g accused of master-minding crimes in South Africa”. He said the document would assist the minister “in dealing with crime by not necessarily taking the blame to Zimbabweans.”
The report also highlights ill-treatment of Zimbabweans at the hands of the South Africa police Service (SAPS) and demands the ministry of Home Affairs, “to treat Zimbabweans as human being and grant them protection”. -CAJ News
