Rural council fights lions

The local council here has warned villagers to watch out for rogue lions who have been responsible for killing livestock.

In Donsa area the stray lions have reportedly killed dozens of domestic animals belonging to locals. It is believed the cats strayed from nearby conservancies.

Farai Machaya, the Zibagwe Rural District Council Chief Executive said locals should be on guard.

“Locals should take great caution,” he said.
