Students sponsored to attend coaching safari

BY A SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT HARARE - Africas first ever Coaching Safari kicks off in Harare this weekend as Worldwide Scholarships launches its innovate scheme to give Zimbabwean athletes the opportunity to train under top US coaches. Eight sports are involved: soccer, track and field, basket

ball, tennis, swimming, water polo, field hockey and golf, according to organiser Munyaradzi Maraire, the young Zimbabwean entrepreneur who himself studied in the US on a sporting scholarship. He has arranged sponsorship for students from all over Zimbabwe to attend the coaching sessions. Sponsored students include:
