Duffin to play for English side

HARARE - British cricket side Winsley has signed Zimbabwe cricket captain Terrence Duffin to lead its challenge in the Bristol and North Somerset league later this month. Duffin is currently in the West Indies, battling against Brian Lara's team in a series of seven one-day internationals. He wil


l replace long-serving overseas player Kanal More, who has returned to his native Mumbai. First team skipper Andy Ellett said he was excited to have an international star at Winsley for the 2006 season. He said: “For a small village club like ourselves to sign somebody of his calibre is great. I hope it will act as a motivating factor for everyone else at the club.”
