Gunners continue winning!

Harare United continues with their bad showing of late by drawing second from the bottom. So far they have dropped 7 points in their last three outings. They were first beaten 2-nil by third-placed Gunners before drawing 2-all with inconsistent Douglas Warriors and lastly drawing to lowly Dorking

. Lengthens continued with their title aspirations by narrowly beating the 10-man police team Black Mambas by two goals to one. Mambas had their defender given his marching orders in the first quarter of the first half. It was a harsh decision by the referee as it didn’t warrant a red card. Felfar Stars dropped valuable points over to lowly Shamva after loosing by 3 goals to one and ZPC Kariba also continued with their good home showing with a 3-1 victory over Golden Kopje.
In Kadoma Eiffel Flats managed to collect a valuable point form their home match against Chegutu Pirates. Grain Tigers continued with their “drawing game” after drawing 2-all with the “The Flames”, Flame Lily. They still maintain their 13th position. Meanwhile Kambuzuma United has been indefinitely suspended from the Zifa Northern region Division One League following their failure to fulfil the last three consecutive matches.
The board met with their executive in attempt to rescue the situation but this was in vain as the executive could not commit themselves without further guidance from their sponsor. The board was left with no option but to proceed as provided for under Article (14) of our Constitution. – John S Remba
