Nyandoro for Bramall Lane?

LONDON - Confusion surrounds the ongoing talks over the arrival at Bramall Lane of Zimbabwean midfielder Esrom Nyandoro. He was expected to start a trial spell with Sheffield United this week, but there has been a delay in him leaving for England.
Nyandoro, who plays for Mamelodi Sundowns,

reported for his club’s pre-season camp on Monday but had expected to head for Sheffield this week. He may now arrive next week.
Jose Ferreira, chief executive of Sundowns confirmed negotiations have been undertaken with United. Nyandoro has spent several days attending a physical and fitness level test with his club at a High Performance Centre and was set to accompany the team to their training camp in Durban, where they would spend two weeks building their preparation for the new season.
Reports suggest that the player, who played a key role in helping Sundowns win the Premier League last season, may be reconsidering. Fulham and Bolton Wanderers are also reported to be interested in him.
Meanwhile, Garry Flitcroft has been forced to retire because of injury. Flitcroft joined the Blades in January on a short-term contract from Blackburn, and made six appearances. With the club not taking up the option to extend his contract Flitcroft has chosen to call time on his career.
