Silver Stars sign 5 Warriors

JOHANNESBURG - Ambitious South African premiership soccer side, Silver Stars has signed five utility Zimbabwe Warriors soccer players two weeks before the Castle Lager Soccer League kicks off.
Silver Stars announced their latest acquisitions from Harare and Bulawayo this week.
Among the top Wa

rriors players are hard-tackling Mwana Africa and former AmaZulu defender Herbert Dick, hard-running Joel Luphahla, and the Highlanders duo of acrobatic goalminder Tapuwa Kapini and industrious midfielder Honour Gombami.
The four highly-rated players joined their fellow countryman Bhekithemba Ndlovu, who was in the South African premiership for two seasons.
Luphahla joined Silver Stars crossing floors from the Pretoria based Super Sport United where he parted ways with fellow countryman and club’s assistant coach Kaitano Tembo.
Officials at the club told CAJ News that the signing of the Zimbabwean players was aimed at boosting their desire to win trophies this season. – CAJ News
