HARARE - Less-fancied Mwana Africa edged visiting Buymore Football Club 2-1 to progress to the lucrative CBZ Cup final to be played at Rufaro Stadium at a date to be announced.
The Bindura-based soccer outfit found their target through left back Titus Petros and industrio

us midfielder Benjamin Marere to propel Mwana Africa to their maiden finals of a major cup of the calibre of the CBC.
Chitungwiza-based Buymore had surged ahead in the 67th minute when sharp-shooting striker More Moyo connected a gem of a goal from the left to give the visitors a comfortable lead.
Mwana Africa will now meet Chapungu United, who narrowly beat visiting Hwange 1-0 into extra-time to cruise into the finals.
The Airforce of Zimbabwe soccer side found their target through Tapiwa Khumbuyani in the dying stages of the match, a victory that was received with jubilation by some army chiefs at the stadium.
Chapungu and Mwana Africa reached the finals following their discipline, character, composure and zeal to achieve success, the theories that turned to be practical and possible.
For the first time in Zimbabwean history the big guns such as Dynamos, Highlanders, CAPS United, Zimbabwe Saints and Black Rhinos have failed to reach the major tournament. – CAJ news
