Chavhanga hamstrung

Zimbabwean-born rugby player Tonderai Chavhanga, who made history when he broke the record for the South African Springboks' individual tries in a single Test match last week, has been ruled out of the first three matches for the Stormers of South Africa in the Super 14 after he was injured.

rding to Stormers assistant coach, Jerome Paarwater, the former Prince Edward School student tore a thigh muscle at a practice camp in George and would be out of play for six weeks.
The Stormers’ first Super 14 match is on February 3 against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein, before they lock horns with the Western Force and Chiefs at Newlands.
Chavhanga qualified to play for the Springboks last year after serving a three-year residency requirement.
