Warriors gather world stars-(08-02-07)

MASERU - The Zimbabwe national soccer team has brought in a strong squad ahead of today's international encounter against Lesotho.
The Warriors are not taking any chances in their quest for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Morocco next month, in an encounter to be contested at Ru

faro Stadium in Harare.
The highly-rated Zimbabwean internationals are captain Benjani Mwaruwari from English soccer outfit Portsmouth, Cephas Chimedza and Dickson Choto from Poland, Vusi Nyoni from Belgium and the evergreen Gilbert Mushangazhike from China.
Besides the Europe-based players, head coach Charles Mhlauri has summoned the South Africa-based players, among them former captain Peter Ndlovu, James Matola, inactive Tapiwa Kapini, Esrom Nyandoro, Tinashe Nengomasha, Zvenyika ‘Shorghie’ Makonese, Charles Yohane, Shingi Kawondera and Joel Luphahla.
The foreign-based players will be united with the local talent of Masvingo United’s acrobatic goalkeeper Tafadzwa Dube, CAPS Football Club (formerly Buymore) left-footer Francis Chandida, Method Mwanjali, David Kutyauripo and Clemence Matawu – all Dynamos.
