Coventry who has peaked for the global championships, after breaking her title duck to add a US Open crown to her trophy cabinet last December will travel with fellow swimmer Heather Brands. The duo represented the country at the World Championship held in Canada last year.
Coventry who has been an exemplary sports ambassador in the country is also expected to spearhead the Zimbabwe challenge at the All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria, from 5-20 July. – Sports reporter
