p> HWANGE – Little-known division two soccer side Golden Stars were massacred 6-1 by supercharged Hwange Football Club in a one-sided CBZ FA Cup match played at the Colliery Stadium in Hwange on Sunday.
The victory helped Hwange join other elite premiership clubs in the next stage of the lucrative tournament.
The coalminers grabbed their goals through double-scorer William Shayanewako, a hat-trick from Gilbert Zulu, and captain Carrington Gomba grabbing the final goal for the hosts.
The Golden Stars pulled one back from the penalty kick in the 81st minute when Muguva fired home to get the consolation goal.
