Handball team to Benin

HANDBALL side Big Elephants have committed themselves to representing Zimbabwe at the 29th Confederation of African Handball Club Championships in Cotonou, Benin, in September.
The Chitungwiza-based side landed the right to represent Zimbabwe after winning the men's national club open in Harar


e in May.
Head coach Bernard Muzanenhamo and assistant Daniel Mutandwa concluded the
final list of players and president Claver Boterere has sent the names to CAHF for registration ahead of the competition, running from September 19 to 30.
Boterere and his executive committee have a huge task raising the registration fees required in foreign currency, as well as funds for travel and living costs.
