UNBEATEN Liverpool, having rattled up 11 goals in four Premier League matches, were knocked off top spot after being held 0-0 at Portsmouth.

utch manager Martin Jol. Arsenal are now top, Chelsea having been held to a goalless draw at home by Blackburn.
Nemanja Vidic scored with a late header as Manchester United edged a 1-0 win at Everton. Dean Ashton scored his first goal after an 18-month injury nightmare in West Ham’s 3-0 home success against Middlesborough and Kenwyne Jones, Sunderland’s new West Indian striker, scored from 25 yards in a 2-1 defeat of visitors Reading.
In Scotland, Celtic crushed Inverness 5-0 in Glasgow to go top, while big city rivals Rangers crashed 4-2 at Hearts.
