Sussex lift title again

BY JOHN HUGHES
SUSSEX wrapped up back-to-back County Championship titles - their third in five years - after a tense finish to the season.
Leg-spin legend Mushtaq Ahmed took 13 wickets in Sussex's innings win over Worcestershire at Hove before the players had to endure an anxious four-hour

But Lancashire, chasing a massive 489-run target, fell just 25 short and had to settle for third place behind runners-up Durham.
Mark Ramprakash, Surrey’s 38-year-old ex-England batsman, scored 196 and 130 not out to total 10 Championship centuries this season.
