Dynamos FC – 0 – Eastern Lions

HARARE – Premiership pacesetters Dynamos Football Club were held to a goalless draw by ZIFA Eastern region champions, Eastern Lions, in a CBZ premiership match played at Gwanzura Stadium on Sunday.
The draw dealt DeMbare a huge blow as arch-rivals Highlanders beat Lengthens 2-1 on Saturd

ay at the same venue.
Highlanders are now trailing Dynamos with a point, but with a game in hand.
Dynamos, who deserved victory in this well balanced match, were their own enemies as their key strikers took chances and missed some gilt-edged scoring opportunities created by their captain, Justice Majabvi.
Murape Murape and Edward Sadomba were the chief culprits as they completely missed some glorious scoring opportunities.
But it was the premiership debutantes Eastern Lions who had the last laugh, having beaten Dynamos 2-1 in the first leg of the premiership at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare before holding the Harare giants to a goalless draw on Sunday.
The Eastern Lions outfit managed to collect the four crucial points from Dynamos, making them the new premiership club to give former champions a torrid time.
