Moyo signs in Botswana

NOMADIC former Highlanders forward Zenzo Moyo has signed a one-year contract with Botswana premiership side, Botswana Meat Commission (BMC).
The former Warriors striker has not been training for close to four months now after severing ties with Zimbabwe soccer giants Highlanders in June this year.

In an interview with CAJ News on Saturday afternoon, Moyo confirmed the move.
“I have signed for BMC, a Botswana club. We are currently finalising on one or two things before I move to Botswana,” said the heavily built striker.
BMC publicity manager Sonny Phiri also confirmed in a telephone interview that Moyo has been training with the team since the beginning of this month.
“I can confirm that we have a done deal with Moyo. He has been with the team for past three weeks although he has not played as yet. His (work) papers are out.
The team, who are the reigning Coca-Cola Challenge Cup champions, has pinned its hopes in him.
Moyo was part of Highlanders’ championship-winning side in 2000 and 2001 before moving to Cyprus. In Cyprus he played for AEP Paphos before moving to Greece where he had a short stint with Hilkadonia. – Agency
