PRETORIA - Former Warriors Captain, Peter Ndlovu, marked his return to the prestigious African continental football championship with a gem of a goal against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia on Saturday.
However, Ndlovu's brilliant goal for Sundowns, South Africa's p

remiership defending champions, could not stop the Tunisian soccer giants winning the match 2-, as his fellow team-mates – with the exception of Godfrey Sapula – failed to complement his frantic efforts.
The former Coventry City forward was in a class of his own, with brilliant touches, excellent ball controlling skills as well as some good runs that confused the Tunisian defence.
But Ndlovu’s efforts failed to yield the desired results as most of the glorious opportunities he created went begging, as his fellow front runners fluffed them.
Indeed, Ndlovu was a lone figure upfront for Sundowns.
He took the media by surprise when he featured for the Brazilians.
The SA media anticipated that club owner-Motsepe had terminated Ndlovu’s contract until Saturday when he featured for the Brazilians for the first time before scoring.
Ndlovu is the richest player in the SA premiership league. Ndlovu could not reveal the details of his new contract, but close sources claim he clinched yet another lucrative deal with club president, Patrice Motsepe.
