GLOBAL ZIMBABWE DIASPORA CONFERENCE

 

Global Zimbabwe is a non-profit organisation registered in Geneva, Switzerland as a genuine global platform representing the majority of Zimbabweans living outside Zimbabwe. A committee of 10 persons will be elected to represent the six regions to which they have been forced to migrate – Australasia, North America,the United Kingdom, European Union, South Africa and rest of the Southern Africa Development Community. This committee will examine all submissions to the conference and draw up strategic policies and plans.

 

The main objectives of Global Zimbabwe are:

1. To mobilise development funds for the Diaspora Development Chamber

2. To train people to understand the development needs of their country

3. To prepare the Diaspora to plan and influence, without confrontation, the future of Zimbabwe.

 

Global Zimbabwe will be allow visionaries to express their dreams, opinions and views. People who can create goals large enough to embrace everyone and take Zimbabwe into the “First World”.

 

It will shift Zimbabwe away from its moribund preoccupation with outdated “liberation politics” to restoring education, manufacturing and production standards accepted by today’s global market requirements. This presents an opportunity for companies, which are doing or intend to do business in Zimbabwe, and for researchers to inject their vision for the future development of Zimbabwe.

 

 It is anticipated that the brains of Zimbabweans will grace this conference annually and express themselves on any topic. This year 250 delegates are expected to attend.
