Warriors plummet

THE ZIMBABWE senior soccer squad is expected to plummet to an organising position in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World rankings, following some embarrassing defeats at the hands of Finland and the hosts Vietnam.

Firstly, the Senior Warriors lost 3-2 to world football lightweights or Finland on Friday before a humiliating 2-0 crash to Vietnam on Sunday. Currently Zimbabwe are ranked 21 in Africa and 83rd in the world according to the recent FIFA/Coca-Cola soccer world rankings. Now under the guidance of former Masvingo United, Dynamos and AmaZulu coach, Luke ‘Vahombe’ Masomere, the Warriors looked confused upfront and poor while defending. – CAJ News
