Warriors Lock Horns With SA.
JOHANNESBURG, (South Africa)----ZIMBABWE Senior Warriors are locking horns with South Africa's Bafana Bafana at Germiston Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa on Tuesday, South Africa Football Association (SAFA) announced on Friday.

Announcing Bafana Bafana squad to play against Zimbabwe at a press conference, South Africa coach, Amando Albert Parreira, said his team was not afraid of Zimbabwe arguing that he would have wanted playing the world’s best teams whilst preparing for the crucial 2010 world cup in South Africa.
South Africa, who played badly at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana are set to meet the rusty Warriors, though historically the Zimbabwe Warriors emerged victorious against their southern counterparts Bafana Bafana.
However, it will depend on the line up the Warriors new coach Valinhos will field on the day in question.
The Warriors coach has a pool of players in the likes of Zvenyika Makonese, Peter Ndlovu, Esrom Nyandoro, Tinashe Nengomashe, Onsmo Bhasera, Innocent Chikoya, Gilbert Mushangazhike, Charles Yohanne, Edelbert Dinha and Tapiwa Kapini plying their trade in South Africa.
Valinhos has another pool of enterprising players in the likes of Ovidy Karuru, Tafadwza Rusike, Darryl Nyandoro, Kingston Nkata and several others from the Young Warriors Under-20, who won the COSAFA-Metropolitan-under 20 tournament in December.
Zimbabwe, though experiencing some economic challenges, judging from the book, the Warriors have an upper hand against their South African counterparts citing abundant talent, skill and eagerness to deliver from the minimal resources available.
If the victory by the Warriors Under-20 in Mpumalanga is anything to go by, then the senior squad might follow suit.
Presently Peter Ndlovu is in terrific form in South Africa, scoiring in every match for the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns, whilst Tinashe Nengomasha, Onsimo Bhasera, Gilbert Mushangazhike and Nyandoro are playing well.
