UNDER FIRE Premier Soccer league's side Caps United's management has moved in to restore sanity at the club which has been rocked by in house squabbles which has resulted in the firing of Assistant Coach Gishon Ntini.

Caps United Director of Operations Farai Jere said after having realized the irreconcilable differences between head coach Luke Masomere and his assistant Gishon Ntini they have decided to “relieve Ntini of his duties and are now in the process of looking for an assistant to work with Masomere preferably from the lower divisions”.On the division within the team Jere said they have since held a meeting with the players and technical department where they read the riot act and instructed the players to have respect for the Head Coach Luke Masomere.

Jere added that as part of instilling discipline in the team they came up with a new system of appointing the team’s captain with the armband now being given to the longest serving player in the team.
Following this decision Jere said they have since appointed goalkeeper Tsungi Mudzamiri as the team’s new captain with Limited Chikafa as his vice.Former Captain David Kutyauripo was relieved of his captaincy in the last two games as a disciplinary and was briefly replaced by goalkeeper Murambadoro.

Meanwhile fired Assistant Coach Gishon Ntini has blamed his fallout with Masomere over the training methods used by his senior and has ruled out working with Masomere again adding that he was not responsible for the division within the team. All has not been well at Caps United this season due to in house problems centering on Ntini and Masomere. The problems have been largely blamed for the team’s poor performance which has resulted in the team losing their last three consecutive matches.
