Dynamos humiliated

BY GRACE CHIRUMANZU
HARARE - Dynamos, suffered a humiliating 0-2 defeat to Lengthens, in a CBZ premier soccer league match at Rufaro Stadium on June 26.

Lengthens were leading in the 17th minute by a blaze from their hero of the day, Ronald Sengu.

With Edward Sadomba attacking from the centre, Norman Maroto from the left wing as Desmond Maringwa and Justice Majabvi controlled the midfield, Dynamos failed to equalize in the first half.

Sadomba fought a lonely battle the rest of the afternoon as teammates, Maringwa, Majabvi, Maroto and Captain Murape Murape competed in displaying their worst performance.

De-mbare striker, Sadomba, came in with a brilliant chance in the 70th minute when he sent a powerful header. There was an extra-ordinary save by Lengthens goalkeeper, Ephraim Mazarura.

Sengu packed Dynamos nets with another, two minutes before time. A save from Tafadzwa Dube, was too much to ask for after such a blistering injection by the Lengthens player.

Dynamos head coach, David Mandigora, made a questionable substitute calling out midfielder, Maringwa in the 77th minute and sending in defender, Tafadzwa Maingire.

Lengthens walked away with three points.
