Monos took the lead three minutes before the breather, through Charles Chiutsa. Makai Kawashu fired a short from the left flank but hit the crossbar and Chiutsa quickly packed it into the opponents’ nets.
In the 48th minute Daniel Zokoto’s made a brilliant finish.
Kiglon came back from half time to narrow the deficit when they won a penalty in the 79th minute following a foul on captain, Tawanda Nyamandwe by Luckymore Simango in the box.
Monomotapa lead the 16-team log with 28 points, ahead of Highlanders who have 25 points.
