Dolphins hosts Heroes Tournament

NEWKIDS on the block -Dolphins Volleyball Club- hosts of the 2008 Heroes Tournament, will be out to make amends in week five of this year's league, in Harare this weekend.

Dolphins Club director, Robert Njerere, told The Zimbabwean his team is working hard to prove a force to reckon with in one of the country’s appreciated minority sports.
We are mainly focused at winning matches and make a name for ourselves. The league title is something we cannot talk of at the moment because every team is still in with a chance, he said.
Njerere, a former Thunder Volleyball Club director, together with his brother, Jonathan, formed the Dolphins women’s team in January, last year.
The newgirls in the 2008 league season, Dolphins, registered their first victory after a walkover on Gweru’s Railton Cats, last week.
Despite falling to Jewel Sisters, J.S Harare and Support Unit, the inexperienced but talented and determined players have put up a spirited performance on the Volleyball courts around Harare.
