We are delighted to pass on to you this update.
Â
“I am pleased to report that we located Mr. James A. Smith while he was on vacation in Hawaii.
Â
Upon learning of his daughter’s affliction he immediately flew to Los Angeles. The DNA, and other testing confirmed his suitability as a donor. The transplant was accomplished last Thursday. The Doctors say it went well. Time will tell the outcome, of course.
Â
Please, post this so the many kind and caring people who responded will know that they helped. Please also convey my gratitude and that of my Clients, Mr. Smith’s grand daughter and her family.
Â
For those interested, Mr. Smith is a retired Building Contractor whose Company specialized in the construction of hospitals. He is, as we learned, a Naturalized American citizen. He did not attend a school in Zimbabwe as we had surmised, but completed studies begun in the U.K., in Johannesburg.
So to all the people concerned in bringing this plight to our attention – thank you, and on behalf of the Zimbabwean Community Worldwide, we would like to say a huge \”thank you\” to everyone for their concern and assistance.
