There is great need that such compromised ministers (sacred cows) be serviced by new technocrats appointed on merit and professional qualifications. The civil service and local authorities should be cleared of the deadwood of the past 28 years of mismanagement. They should open the way for new blood to revolutionise this country back to production.
All aged civil servants and local authority officials clinging to positions of authority like their master should be put on notice and retire at their looted farms until further notice. All ministers should be given targets to achieve in the next six to 18 months with continuous reviews to get projects implemented.
Ministers who were defeated on March 29, including the Mutambara rogues, will not be effective as they are getting into power through the back-door. These are gate-crushers and chancers. The opportunity should have been given to those who were given the mandate by the people.
The Prime Minister will have a tough time to change the attitudes of Zanu (PF) followers in positions of authority. The whole Zanu (PF) is too stinking with corruption and lies, for any change to take place.
