Dynamos storm into Africa Club semis

HARARE, (CAJ News)-DYNAMOS stormed into the African Champions League semif-finals with a 1-0 destruction of visiting Egyptian giants Zamalek at Rufaro Stadium in Harare on Sunday.

 

Substitute David Shoko was the hero with a terific free-kick fromn the edfe of the box in the 86th minute of an action-packed encounter that was well handled by the Ghanaian match officials.

 

Zimbabweans packed the venue to the bream, creating an intimidating atmosphere that posed numerous problems to Zamalek who could not setle down.

The Egyoptians, who are now eliminated from the tournament, had Junior Agogo particularly shining in the first half but failed to find a way past the Thomas Sweswe marshalled De Mbare defence.

Dynamos now meet Cottonsport in the semi-finals of Africa’s elite club competition–CAJ News.
