Team Zimbabwe not impressive at Paralympic Games

HARARE, (CAJ News)--ZIMBABWE'S representatives at the ongoing Paralympic Games in Beijing, China,  Elliot Mujaji and Molene Muza appears they are finding the going tough.

Mujaji, who made history by winning a gold medal at the Athens, Greece Paralympic Games in 2004  this time around was in poor form as he battled to bring back smiles to millions of home fans.

Mujaji has another chance this week to redeem himself having been declared fit to compete in his best track and field races, mainly in the short sprints.

On the other hand, Muza is disappointing in her javelin as she too, found the going tough in the world of champions.  Muza finished seventh in the first attempt last week and fell short of reaching the final of the javelin.

It appears all is not well in the paralympic camp for Zimbabwe whilst neighbours South Africa, who failed dismally in the just ended Olympic Games are harvesting dozens of gold, silver and bronze medals—CAJ News.
