Life in a South African shelter

PRETORIA - Aaliyah Banda stood outside Malas Shelters holding her two year old little girl Christabelle, hoping to get something to eat from passers by. Banda and her husband, Munashe Mheta came to South Africa in March 2008. Banda is a professional hair dresser and does counselling at the shelter where the living conditions are depressing.
