SA strikers struggle to score

RUSTENBURG - It has took misfiring South African strikers four games to get a goal past Zimbabwean-born keeper, Energy Murambadoro.

Murambadoro, who recently quit the warriors in the aftermath of the team’s failure to qualify for the 2010 African Nations cup and world Cup, was beaten twice in the second half by Moroka swallows’ David Radebe and Mark Haskins.

Bidvest Wits eventually lost 2-0 to Swallows and bowed out of the Telkom Knockout.

The Birds broke the deadlock in the 55th minute courtesy of Radebe who capitalised on a spill by the Zimbabwean keeper. – CAJ News
