Handlers at Imire Game Park were anxious about what would happen when they decided to introduce four-year-old female Shanu to male rhino Tatenda, but are delighted to report that the two are very happy together.
More good news came when El Paso Rhinos hockey team from the US agreed to adopt Tatenda as a mascot. Tattie won’t be travelling to America, of course; the team will be paying for his food until he is weaned and any expenses that come up.
