MDC leaders give blood

DURBAN - Forty-five leaders of the MDC in South Africa donated blood on Wednesday at an Aids Health Care Foundation event.

The leadership also conducted a public HIV test at Ithembalabantu
Clinic as part of a campaign to encourage responsible behaviour among
the general populace.

The exercise is designed to beef up blood supplies which are mostly
needed during the festive period. The leaders were also equipped with
Aids counselling skills to help infected Zimbabweans living in South
Africa in an initiative to encourage the four million Zimbabweans to
follow suit and live a positive life in the Diaspora.
