Tanzania: Japan signs to finance 14bn/- water project in Mwanza, Mara regions

Tanzania and Japan on Wednesday signed an agreement under which the latter is to provide 14.2bn/- for a two-year water project in Mwanza and Mara regions.
The project, which is expected to run from 2009/2010 to 2010/2011, is expected to cover 44 villages in the two regions.
The agreement was signed by Japanese Ambassador to Tanzania Hiroshi Nakagawa and Finance and Economic Affa
