Last year Munyaradzi Chidzonga, the 22-year-old representative from Zimbabwe, finished in third place. Angolan Ricco scooped the US$100,000 prize. Now renamed Big Brother Africa: The Revolution, the reality television show will include contestants from Ethiopia and Mozambique to bring the number of housemates to 14.
Housemates will no longer vote for those they want to leave the house, but for those they want to stay. The show has, in the past, courted serious controversy when housemates made love in the house in full view of the cameras. The housemates will be expected to stay in the same house for 90 days, during which time the cameras will be rolling 24/7.

HARARE - Reality TV show Big Brother Africa 4, due to start on September 6, now offers prize money of US$200,000, double the previous pot. (Pictured: Third place for Zimbabwes Big Brother contender Munya last year. How will we do this time around?)
