Preparation for Craven Week

rugbyZimbabwe Rugby Union has named the schoolboy squad to take part at the annual Craven Week tournament, scheduled for South Africa, next month.


Godwin Murambiwa will take charge of the boys as Peterhouse college hooker, Takudzwa Mandiwanza, captain the team. The junior rugby showpiece will explode into life on July 13 in East London. Zimbabwe will begin their matches against a South African Academy side on July 14.

Captain Mandiwanza, St Georges prop Zerubabel Makomva, Prince Edward scrumhalf Charles Jiji, and utility back Tom Nelson of Peterhouse are expected to share their experience from last years edition of the tournament.
Craven Week tournament is South Africas biggest schoolboy showdown. It features provincial sides from around South Africa as well as a national select side from Zimbabwe and Namibia.
