HARARE - Jazz 105 hosts the Winter Jazz Festival on Friday, expected to pool the creme-de-la-creme of the jazz music industry. The idea was to give aspiring jazz musicians an opportunity to perform, but the young and highly-talented Churchill and Prince Edward school jazz groups are set to take to the stage as well. Three musicians have been booked to perform on Friday, then nine on Saturday, and another four on Sunday.
This year’s installment of the Winter Jazz Festival will include Alexio Kawara, Clive Mono Mukundu, Sulu Chimbetu, Andy Brown, Cool Crooners, Josh Meck, Willis Wataffi, Dino Mudondo, Willom Tight, JM Seasons, Summer Breeze, Highway Drive, Lwazi Tshabangu and Bob Nyabinde.
