Jeffries will have the Childline logo emblazoned on his racing vehicle as a way of helping promote the organisation that works to improve the welfare of children.
“It made me feel it’s only fair that I should be helping others,” said Jefferies, who is sponsored by Pioneer Corporation Africa.
As part of his duties as ambassador, Jeffries recently travelled with the Childline team to Bindura to meet children from less privileged backgrounds as part of Childline’s outreach program. ??
Jefferies, who this year won two races in the Formula BMW Pacific championship, began his racing career at the Donnybrook motorsport complex near Harare’s Mabvuku suburb and had the opportunity to interact with young children from the surrounding community.
His father and manager, Suhail, has cultivated a culture of generosity in the family as his business has always contributed to charities and a local orphanage.??
Jeffries has certainly learnt a thing or two from his father and in his new role will help cheer up millions of children in Zimbabwe and around the world. ??
Childline is a worldwide organization with independently run offices in various countries, and is on a mission to help bring smiles to the world’s little ones.
