MUTARE The Mayor of Mutare, Brian James, has launched a sports tournament to promote inclusiveness between the two political parties. The soccer and netball tournament, jointly bankrolled by Mutare City council and a donor called Shandira is scheduled for 2526 July at Mutare showground. Sport is a very good platform for people to discuss and share constructive ideas in a relaxed environment, said the Mayor in an interview with The Zimbabwean this week. councillors have been asked to spearhead and coordinate the events.
There are two categories – 18-30 years and above those above 35 years.
