Diaspora development conference

gordon_moyoLONDON There will be a conference held on September 26 by the Zimbabwe Diaspora Development Interface (ZDDI) to provide a platform for Zimbabweans to interact with key stakeholders on development. (Pictured: Gordon Moyo)

The conference will be held in the University of East London from 8.30am until 4.30pm. It will focus on key policy issues relating to investment opportunities for the Zimbabwean Diaspora, skills return and development among other issues. Guest speakers from the Zimbabwean government include Richard Mbaiwa (Zimbabwe Investment Authority CEO), Emmanuel Munyukwi (Zimbabwe Stock Exchange CEO) Lazarus Muriritirwa (Policy and Implementation Director) and Gordon Moyo (MP).

From the UK, guest speakers such as John Dennis (Head of Zimbabwe Unit -Foreign & Common Wealth Office) and Robert Shooter (Department for Overseas Development) will be in attendance. For more information visit: www.zimdiasporainterface.org.
