BULAWAYO - More than 3000 Zimbabweans were deported from Botswana last week as the country prepares for its general elections. The Zimbabwean visited Plumtree border post on Saturday and witnessed long queues of deportees who had been dumped by the Botswana immigration trucks at International Organization of Migration (IOM) Reception Centre.
They are doing that because they dont want disturbances during their forthcoming elections, said an IOM official.
