Wits head coach Roger De Sa told The Zimbabwean On Sunday that Murambadoro, who has just returned from a knee injury, will be loaned out because the club has exhausted its foreign quota for this season.

Energy has made a speedy recovery and will be ready for action within two or three weeks, but he will not be able to play for us this season because we have finished our foreign quota, said De Sa.

The best thing for us to do now is loan him out for the next four months, so that he can get a chance to play and remain fit for his return next season.

Although he could not say which club Murambadoro would join, De Sa said that the Zimbabwean international would not be released to a lower division team.

We have had offers from various clubs both here and outside, but it is still early days for me to say which one he will be joining, said the Wits mentor.

He is a family man and we have to consider what is good for him, his wife and child when negotiating his move. We have our contacts out there, who have lined up a number of offers and chances are that he will be joining a Premiership team here or moving overseas.

De Sa added that his side would miss Murambadoro, who was voted Wits Players Player of the Year last season.

Energy is a very good player and we value him so much. Not only did he have good games for us, he also contributed a lot in the dressing room even when he was injured and it was no coincidence that he was voted our best player.

The Wits mentor said that, notwithstanding the possibility of a bigger overseas move, Murambadoro would definitely return to the Johannesburg-based club next season.

The former CAPS United goalkeeper still has a year remaining in his contract with Wits, with a renewal option of another year.
