The album launch marks a turning point on their fledgling career. Mese Mese was recorded under a project by Africa Unsigned, complemented by Music Crossroads Zimbabwe. The track will be used to foster the Stand Up-Take Action campaign on the eradication of extreme poverty by 2015, which is one of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Alliance Franaise is joining arms with Music Crossroads Zimbabwe and Africa Unsigned to host the launch on Tuesday at the 328 Herbert Chitepo Avenue premises of the Alliance Franaise.
Recently appointed National Arts Council Director, Elvas Mari, is expected to grace the occasion and will officially launch the two works. All three organisations focus on developing the career of young and promising musicians by offering them a place of expression, technical support and a professional platform to launch their talent beyond the borders of Zimbabwe.
