HARARE - The New Year is off to a great start for urban groover, Rockford Roki Josphats, after he and his partner, Pauline Gundidza of MAfriq, welcomed a little girl into their family. Pauline gave birth to the couple’s second child on January 6, 2010, and Roki wasted no time sharing the good news with his fans via social networking site facebook.
“Happy New Year everyone! On Wednesday, January 6, Pauline gave birth to a healthy 3.4kg baby girl named Minana,” Roki wrote.
‘Minana’ is Zimbabwean for ‘unexpected occurrence bordering on the impossible.’
“That’s what God has given us this morning. Pauline’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honoured to welcome this little lady into our family,” he wrote.
Roki is currently in Madagascar, where he is said to have lined up a number of shows and has extended his stay. He travelled there just after separating with wife over interference by in-laws.
