Both models told Showbiz they were proud to be among the 10 finalists for the grand finale. The winner will take home a US$50,000 cash prize and a modelling contract from Oluchi Onweagba Orlandi’s O Model Africa.
“I have trained well and every photo-shoot, every fashion fitting and every single time I get onto the catwalk, I live my dream because of Face of Africa,” said Rozanna.
“I have come a long way from the Face of Africa Boot Camp, which kicked off with 24 models from 16 countries – but after a tough week of challenges, tasks and no shortage of drama, only 10 made it for the finals and thank God I’m among them,” Tholakele said.
The two Zimbabwean models travelled to South Africa last Tuesday, where all the finalists met before heading to Nigeria.
This season, MNet decided to do things a bit differently. Their new formula worked. Viewers have been hooked to the Face of Africa TV series which has taken us from the auditions and all through the girls journey towards the big prize.
The final 10 contestants were revealed last Saturday and now all roads lead to Lagos for the finale, which will be graced by international celebs, including Iman.
The exciting 2010 Face of Africa Finale will be broadcast live on Saturday 6 February 2010 from the Eko Hotel Exhibition Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
