HARARE heavyweights, Caps United, will be seeking to paint the whole country green this weekend when they face a troubled Swaziland-side, Mbabane Highlanders in the preliminary round of the 2010 Caf Confederations Cup, at Rufaro on Saturday.By beating Dynamos 3-0 in the final of the four-team tournament, last weekend, the Green Machine won the confidence of their supporters who are expected to turn out in full force as MaKepeKepe storm the battlefield of the continental club showdown. With a trio of strikers Vincent Nzombe, Congolese winger Yves Ebabali and Ghanaian striker Frank Adu Kwame, United humiliated Lengthens 4-1 before winning the final against their perennial rivals, Dynamos.
United will now need to take their morale into the weekend to pull a lead over the visitors before the second leg away from home, in two weeks time. “Based on potential I think we are a good side though results are not based on potential alone, said United head coach, Lloyd Chitembwe. We have to work hard to achieve those results and the good thing is that this team has ambition to do well in the Confederation Cup and I think that is what is driving the players regardless of who we play.
