With Mutinhiri’s Model Workshops, the first held last week in Harare, the supermodel is adding another gem to her repertoire of accomplishments.

Mutinhiri spoke to the models during the workshop about her love of fashion, fashion reality shows, and all the new projects on her horizon. The workshop, which included tips on grooming, make-up and building a portfolio, included practical sessions on runway skills, an actual video shoot and a photo shoot.

The model said her workshop was expected to open doors for young models. The material from the workshop, videos and photos, will be taken to modelling agencies in South Africa, Beijing, Europe and the USA. The workshops provide young ladies with correct and relevant modelling information, she said.

There are no guarantees of success, but she gives young women the right tools for the industry. The workshops typically feature guest speakers, top designers, top stylists, and top photographers to facilitate the learning module.

Now based in Cape Town, Mutinhiri is the official face of “Baby Phat.” She also models for “Phat Farm” under the Urban Luxury Brands. Mutinhiri has made it to the cover of True Love and Drum magazines.

The vivacious 22-year-old model, has been voted Black Face of “Estee Lauder” in South Africa and featured in Mimee Noodles TV commercial (Nigeria) during the build up to the Face of the Loerie awards campaign last year.

She is also Miss Global Face of “Bio Oil.” She has also appeared in adverts for giant cellular network provider MTN
