Refugee drama given another chance

JOHANNESBURG - A drama group comprising of refugees from The Central Methodists Albert School have been given a new lease of life after a sponsor stepped forward at this years exhibition in Soweto.

The headmaster of St Albert School, Alpha Zhou, told The Zimbabwean that a German national had promised to sponsor the refugees.

These youngsters are talented, as you can see, but they lack resources. They are all from Zimbabwe. We are grateful to the sponsor and hope that will motivate them since they were demoralized by their failure to go and perform in Botswana.

The drama group last year came first in a drama competition, winning three trophies and R5000.
