It is our hope that the information provided will be useful to our constituency of readership, particularly the leaders at the local level and civil society practitioners, in informing and shaping their choice of developmental objectives and initiatives.

Harare- The Zimbabwe National Students Union (ZINASU) met the Prime Minister, Morgan Tsvangirai, on Tuesday, to discuss the issues that affect students in Zimbabwe. The major issue that most students wanted addressed was that of the exorbitant fees that learning institutions charge. The Prime Minister pledged to engage the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education and liaise with him for a learn now and pay later scheme. Other issues discussed included the rampant arrests and suspension of students which has left students terrorised.
