The coach was involved in a fall out with some of the teams senior players who include defender Method Mwanjali, last year. Chitembwe accused some of the players of a lack of discipline and respect for him as a coach. But last week it was not the players but their mentor. Mwanjali was not even in the starting line up as he was red carded in the previous match against Black Mambas.
Dynamos head coach, Elvis Chiweshe, may have also responded harshly to a nagging Chiwayi who watched both coaches closely to stay in their demarcated box. But it was Chitembwe who was under pressure with United 2-0 down 20 minute into the match. Despite a seemingly doubtful assistant coach, Mike Madzivanyika taking over control of events on the technical bench, Chitembwes absence appeared to have affected the flow of events on the pitch despite his side reducing the deficit in the 45th minute. Team manager Wilson Mutekede believed the game may have been too big for the referee as he refused to term it fair enough to accept defeat to Dynamos.

After almost three years of maintaining a fine run over perennial rivals, Dynamos, Caps United succumbed to a 1-2 loss without head coach, Lloyd Chitembwe who was sent off after allegedly using abusive language to official, Pamela Chiwayi, at Rufaro last weekend. (Pictured: Head Coach Llo
